These workshops aim to improve your performance as a teacher in a school or college.
Who is this course for?
The courses are aimed at improving the performance of current classroom teachers and people who want to enter the teaching profession.
Course Structure
You will be working with a very experienced and highly qualified British teacher, alongside other teachers and student teachers who have enrolled on the course, through live online lessons. You can choose to enrol in as many of the courses, listed below, as you would like.
If you are a school or college leader, we can offer bespoke teacher training packages for the teachers in your school or college.
Course Duration
We usually deliver lessons over a twelve week period, with one lesson per week and each lesson lasts one hour. You will access the live lesson via Teams. Your teacher will email you all the information to successfully enter the ‘classroom’. There will be an expectation from your teacher to participate and share ideas with other members of the course.
Course content and will I be tested or assessed?
Our teacher training programme is based on the UK Department of Education framework for effective initial teacher training and includes the following:
Module 1 – Setting high expectations.
Module 2 – Promoting good progress.
Module 3 – Planning and delivering well-structured lessons.
Module 4 – Adapting and differentiating teaching and learning.
Module 5 – Making accurate and productive use of assessment and feedback.
Module 6 – Managing behaviour effectively
