Louise thoroughly enjoys working with students and gains great satisfaction from seeing them achieve their goals; whether that be moving on to university or to their chosen job role. Louise constantly strives to be a teacher of the highest standard and focuses heavily on delivering lessons that students find interesting and engaging. Her extensive teaching experience, of over 25 years, has helped Louise to understand the challenges and problems students face and she willingly offers a great deal of help, support and practical advice to keep students on track. As an A level examiner, Louise has an excellent understanding of what students need to do to achieve success in examination settings and has delivered many workshops on examination skills which students have found extremely helpful. Additionally, Louise is very interested in helping people progress in their chosen career and set up and delivered a very successful employability course, for many years, in a large UK college. She is also a well-qualified performance coach and has helped and supported many teachers and delivered professional development training sessions.

In recognition of Louise’s ‘skills, achievements and expertise’ and her outstanding contribution to education, she was awarded a Fellowship with the UK Chartered College of Teaching in 2022.
